This workshop would suit anyone that is interested in learning how to create a repeat pattern that will then be photo exposed onto a screen.
You will begin the workshop with a design session where you will draw motifs and develop a hand drawn repeat pattern. Once the screen is exposed you will be printing your patterns onto lengths of fabric, while learning about screen printing and how different types of inks can dramatically change your designs.
No experience necessary, price includes all printing materials and inks plus all fabric used throughout the course.
On completion of the workshop the exposed screen can be taken home by each student and used over and over again. The screens will be 40cm x 50cm printing surface area.
This workshop is small and intimate with a maximum of 10 students.
