MAKE A MINI TEEPEE WITH LEILA SANDERSON

$165.00

Make a gorgeous mini teepee using reclaimed yacht sailcloth.
This workshop will be led by Leila Sanderson who makes recycled yacht sailcloth teepees that have been featured in Inside Out, Habitus, Good Weekend and M magazines and on several international and local blogs including Poppytalk and The Design Files.
The one day workshop will include: material selection, pattern making, cutting out, decorating and then sewing together your very own mini teepee.
The base of the teepee is 50cm square and it is 60cm high - Big enough for a doll, teddy or a tiny baby!
The idea is that once you've made it you can apply the principles to any height but you wouldn't be able to finish off anything bigger than this in a one day workshop hence the mini teepee approach!

The workshop is appropriate for all ages - children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult .
All materials provided except for fabric scissors & a sewing machine.
Basic sewing machine skills are required. Please feel free to bring your own machine. Please contact us if you would like to discuss borrowing a machine.

Workshop will be held at Harvest Workroom, 512 Lygon Street, East Brunswick, Melbourne, Australia.

July 23 10.30am-4pm
